For you and your friend to receive £10 each, you must be an existing HSBC Passport customer or have held a Passport Bank Account in the last 2 years. Your friend must successfully open an HSBC Passport Bank Account and take the Member Get Member voucher (request in branch) into an HSBC Branch in the UK before 31 December 2008. Once we have verified that your friend has successfully opened a Passport Bank Account and that they meet our qualifying criteria, we will credit both your account and your friend's account with £10 (the £10 credit will depend on your friend's arrival in the UK and account being opened in an HSBC Branch in the UK. This can take up to three months). Passport Bank Account opening is subject to status. Your friend can apply online but the account will only be deemed opened once your friend is based in the UK and all account opening formalities have been completed. There is no limit to the number of people you can recommend so long as they are not existing HSBC Bank plc customers. £10 will be provided per recommended person. No other incentive will be provided regardless of the number of accounts your friend ultimately opens. Employees of HSBC are not eligible to receive any incentive under this offer. HSBC Bank plc reserves the right to amend or vary the terms and conditions of this promotion (including the incentive) or to withdraw it at any time without notice. HSBC Bank plc also reserve the right to withdraw the £10 credit from your friend’s account should they close it prior to the expiry of the 12 month fixed term account opening criteria.
